Home Sleep Testing- Important COVID-19 Provider and Patient Information

Neurocare always places top priority on patient safety and wellness. We remain committed to supporting our referring providers and patients during this time of heightened precaution due to COVID-19 concerns.  In  our Newton and Brockton locations,  we’re now offering “touch free” pick-up of Home Sleep Testing equipment, bringing it right to your car. Home Sleep Testing using our UPS delivery program is still available for those that live outside of the geographic area of a pick-up location. We’ll make arrangements for the best method with the patient- no action is required by the referring provider or patient for existing orders.

PATIENT SAFETY: Enhanced patient screening protocols are executed to meet current CDC recommendations at the time of scheduling and patients are rescreened the day of the appointment. We will notify the referring provider if it becomes necessary to defer services as a result of screening.

STAFF SAFETY: Technologists handling equipment utilize personal protective equipment (PPE). They are screened by managers on a daily basis, using CDC-based screening questions appropriate for healthcare workers to ensure a healthy, symptom-free workforce.

CLEANING & PACKAGING: Neurocare has always maintained rigorous infection control protocols to sanitize and disinfect equipment to standards that meet or exceed current CDC, EPA and manufacturer guidelines to eliminate the potential for bacteria, fungi and viral contamination, including human coronavirus. We continually revise protocols and safety policies as new CDC guidance becomes available.

SUPPORT: We continue to provide 24/7 patient phone support to offer additional assistance using our Phillips NightOne testing equipment to ensure optimal testing outcomes.

If you have questions about the program, referring a patient, or if you need assistance placing an order, please do not hesitate to contact our administrative team at 617- 796-7766.
