Available career opportunity Polysomnographic Sleep Technologists Chicago Area Neurocare, Inc., founded in 1988, provides sleep diagnostic services in its AASM accredited laboratories and managed hospital programs in the Mid-Atlantic states, Georgia and New England. We partner with some of the nation’s premier academic sleep programs and medical centers to provide comprehensive sleep services, and are currently seeking technologists and senior staff for programs developing in the Chicago area. Neurocare offers a professional and challenging environment in one of the fastest growing fields in medicine, and the opportunity to interact with and learn from internationally renowned sleep specialists. We are always interested in experienced full-time/part-time and perdiem technologists to perform overnight sleep studies. One to three 12-hour overnight shifts/week with two patients or on a perdiem basis. Also seeking part time/perdiem expert scorers. Must follow AASM rules for scoring, be proficient in arousal & event scoring criteria, cardiac arrhythmia recognition, abnormal sleep & artifact recognition; experience with Nihon Kohden Viasys preferred.
